Chaste Hair Institute offers an Enthusiastic Learning Environment. Students will Experience a Combination of Classroom and Hands on Instruction!

The topics will include basic training, related concepts, practices and procedures, and business practices. We also offer an internship program.

Students will get to learn and perform styles such as but not limited to:

- Box Braids

- Feed-In Braids

- Senegalese Twists

- Locs

- Sew-Ins 

- Wig Making

 Hair Braider Pre-enrollment Requirements:

1. Be at least 16 years of age

2. Copy of State ID or DL

3. Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent

4. Provide a sealed official high school transcript or GED equivalent

5. Fill out an application

6. Pay non-refundable application fee of $100.00

Course Timeframe

- 300 Hours

- 15 week course 

Do you want to move from behind the chair and grow your business? A teacher’s license can move you forward fast. You will have training in subjects such as, but not limited to:

- Educational Psychology 

- Practical and theoretical teaching methods

- Business 

Hair Braiding Teacher Pre-enrollment Requirements:

1. Be at least 18 years of age

2. Copy of State ID or DL

3. Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent

4. Provide a sealed official high school transcript or GED equivalent

5. Hold a license in good standing as a hair braider

6. Fill out an application

7. Pay non-refundable application fee of $100.00

Course Timeframe

- 600 Hours 

- 30 week course

Education is a key to success, and the best way to stay on top of what’s new in the industry is to take continuing education courses. Not only are you required to take CE courses to renew your license, but CE courses also help you with sharpening your skills. We offer, but not limited to the following courses:

- Health and Safety

- Business Management

- Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness

*Note that Hair Braiders need 10hrs of CE and Hair Braiding Teachers need 20hrs of CE to renew their license.
